Founded in 2024 by Kim Stephenson, Niva is a locally-owned mobile physical therapy practice proudly serving the greater Austin area. We bring expert, in-home care directly to your door—so you can focus on healing in the comfort of your own space.

After leading a school through the challenges of COVID, Kim discovered a passion for helping others thrive—not in the classroom, but through the behind-the-scenes heart of physical therapy. That passion evolved into Niva: a practice grounded in empathy, excellence, and accessibility for all.

Our team is led by Mario, a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2019, whose experience spans home health, outpatient, and post-operative care. Known for his hands-on skills and down-to-earth approach, Mario blends clinical expertise with real compassion—creating an environment where patients feel safe, seen, and supported. He’s the kind of therapist who remembers your dog’s name and exactly how to adjust your knee post-op for optimal recovery.

We also collaborate with a dynamic network of Doctors of Physical Therapy, including Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialists (OCS), Fellows, and experts in cutting-edge treatments like manual therapy and blood flow restriction. Together, we deliver high-level clinical care with a human touch—no crowded gyms, no cookie-cutter plans, just what works for you.
